This is a beautiful Spanish villa built in 1900 and is on the very edge of La Manga Club only 450 metres from the Resort’s centre. The property was a rustic countryside villa with stables, orchard, well, barn, outbuildings, etc which were all modernised in the 60’s and renovated again around 2013 along with the converted 2 bed guesthouse. The main villa was built with very solid walls 50cm thickness, which was good isolation from climate in the old days.
The villa has a beautiful garden and a good size pool surrounded by olive trees and colourful bouganvilleas. On one side of the villa you have the orchard with fruit trees such as pears, lemons, pomegranates, clementine, advocate, and there is also a built in wood burning bbq/oven.
The interior Spanish style patio is shared by both the main house and guesthouse with an exterior staircase to access the private large roof terrace with views to the hills and across the football fields.
There is a gated porch to the front. The main door is Mediterranean style with small doors fitted which, when open, allows both the breeze and the light to come through.
The spacious lounge has high ceilings with wooden beams, a central fireplace, an archway through to the dining room and folding patio door to the pool terrace where you may sunbathe on the loungers or relax on the sofas.
The dining room is open to the kitchen, has an interior built in bbq, doors on both sides of the room, one taking you to the terrace the other to the back patio. The charming antique pieces such as the telephones, rural bygone tools, writing desk etc., gives a romantic atmosphere that takes you back.
In the main part of the house there is one single bedroom and a shower room. A double bedroom that has a high ceiling with beams and en suite bathroom. A third room has been converted into a dressing room with built-in wardrobes from floor to ceiling but could easily be converted back to a bedroom. The recreation room has a pub style bar and comes equipped with fridge freezer, beer pump, optics for spirits, speakers, bar stools and leads directly to the games room with a pool table. The games room has sliding doors to the patio where you will find a large storage room and the guesthouse.
The guesthouse was fully renovated recently and comprises of two bedrooms, one of which has a wood burning stove, they share a bathroom with a shower incorporated. The living area is open plan to the kitchen and dining-room.
There is a remote controlled motorised door for car access and covered parking for two cars with a large storage room besides. The property has Air Conditioning Heat/Cold aswell as Central heating by wall radiators.
One of the beauties of this property is the close proximity to the Resort without the running costs of La Manga Club
